Salary Range: $49,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Allegan that are seeking EDM Operators. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain EDM machinery for precision part production.
• Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to determine machining parameters.
• Select appropriate electrodes and tooling for specific EDM applications.
• Monitor EDM process parameters and adjust settings to optimize performance and quality.
• Perform in-process quality checks using various measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues and machine alarms.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of EDM equipment.
• Document production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience operating EDM machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using metrology tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers) for inspection
• Basic understanding of G-code and M-code for machine operation
