Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Coopersville seeking EHS Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Provide EHS training to employees at all levels, including new hire orientation and specialized safety programs.
• Manage hazardous waste disposal programs and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Oversee the facility's emergency response plan and coordinate drills to ensure preparedness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into manufacturing processes and new projects.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant EHS regulations and standards.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and systems.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) designation.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• Proficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Sphera).
• Multilingual, especially Spanish, to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce.
