Salary Range: $45,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Coopersville that are seeking skilled Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Generate customer invoices and credit memos, verifying accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on past due invoices, and resolve payment issues.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable and receivable files.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to AP/AR.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reconciliation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high volume transactions and meet deadlines accurately.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems specific to manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Familiarity with the manufacturing production cycle and its financial implications.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles as they relate to accounts payable/receivable.
• Ability to analyze and reconcile complex vendor statements or customer accounts involving material and production variances.
