Salary Range: $126,000 - $176,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Fremont that are seeking Controllers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and cost accounting.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, providing insightful commentary.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads.
• Monitor inventory valuation and obsolescence, implementing strategies to optimize inventory levels.
• Analyze production costs and variances, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
• Proven experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, prepare accurate reports, and present findings to management.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
