Salary Range: $67,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Cadillac that are seeking skilled Cost Accountants. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard product costs.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare variance reports.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes for production costs.
• Perform margin analysis and provide insights on product profitability.
• Collaborate with operations to identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Prepare inventory valuations and reconcile to the general ledger.
• Assist in the development of cost models for new products and processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization
• Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• CPA or CMA certification
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
• Proficiency in a second language relevant to global operations
