Salary Range: $61,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Whitehall that are seeking skilled CMM Programmers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate CMM programs for complex manufactured parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and CAD models to create inspection routines.
• Perform first article inspections (FAI) and in-process inspections using CMM.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing CMM programs and measurement processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize inspection methods and improve product quality.
• Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Document CMM programs, inspection results, and process improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application in measurement.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints and 3D CAD models.
• Experience with various CMM types and probing systems.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software for model-based definition (MBD) or Product and Manufacturing Information (PMI)
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (QMS)
• Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on CMM equipment
• Knowledge of various GD&T applications and their impact on measurement strategies
