Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across East Lansing seeking Calibration Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine calibration and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning calibration equipment and instrumentation.
• Document calibration results, maintain accurate records, and generate calibration certificates.
• Develop and implement calibration procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Analyze calibration data to identify trends, recommend adjustments, and improve measurement accuracy.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized calibration lab environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology, mechanical engineering technology) or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience performing calibration, maintenance, or repair of test and measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and calibration procedures.
• Strong understanding of measurement principles, uncertainty, and the use of calibration standards.
• Proficiency in using various hand tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized calibration equipment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry, report generation, and navigating calibration software.
