Salary Range: $62,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Delta Township seeking Buyers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages supplier relationships and performance, including negotiations and contract management.
• Identifies and evaluates new suppliers, materials, and technologies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Collaborates with engineering and production to ensure timely procurement of materials for manufacturing operations.
• Analyzes market trends and forecasts to inform purchasing strategies and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Develops and implements purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Monitors inventory levels and implements strategies to optimize stock and minimize waste.
• Resolves issues related to supplier performance, product quality, and delivery discrepancies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a purchasing or buyer role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for procurement processes.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and make data-driven decisions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM)
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their impact on procurement
• Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance data to drive strategic decisions
• Experience with international sourcing and navigating global supply chains
