Salary Range: $90,000 - $137,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Traverse City that are seeking skilled Continuous Improvement Leaders. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodologies across manufacturing operations.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams on continuous improvement projects, ensuring successful execution and sustainable results.
  • Identify and analyze operational inefficiencies, waste, and bottlenecks using data-driven approaches.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on continuous improvement tools and principles to build internal capabilities.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and report on progress.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by promoting problem-solving, innovation, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify strategic improvement opportunities and align CI initiatives with business objectives.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • 5+ years experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving significant cost savings and efficiency gains through CI methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and lead change at all levels.
