Salary Range: $59,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Hart that are seeking CNC Swiss Lathe Operators. Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC Swiss-type lathes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
- Perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine alarms and minor operational issues.
- Load and unload bar stock and finished parts efficiently.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3+ years experience operating CNC Swiss-type lathes (e.g., Star, Citizen, Tsugami).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to perform tool changes, offsets, and basic program edits at the machine.
- Experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, optical comparators).
- Strong understanding of cutting tools, materials (stainless steel, brass, titanium), and machining parameters.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with quality inspection tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges)
- Ability to read and interpret GD&T schematics
- Familiarity with CAM software for program editing or optimization
- Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting machining issues
- Prior experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment
