Salary Range: $48,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain EDM machinery for precision part manufacturing.
• Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models to determine machining parameters.
• Select appropriate electrodes and tooling for specific EDM applications.
• Monitor EDM processes, adjusting settings as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM equipment.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of machined parts using metrology tools.
• Document production activities, including run times, material usage, and quality control data.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience operating EDM machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Experience with various EDM types (e.g., Wire EDM, Sinker EDM) is a plus

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for CNC programming.
• Familiarity with various EDM machine types (e.g., wire, sinker, hole popper).
• Knowledge of different electrode materials and their applications.
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
