Salary Range: $83,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Mattawan seeking Advanced Quality Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for complex quality issues.
• Develops and implements advanced quality control plans and inspection methodologies.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives using statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools.
• Collaborates with design and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability and inspectability of new products.
• Conducts advanced statistical analysis of quality data to identify trends and predict potential failures.
• Mentors and trains junior quality engineers on advanced quality principles and problem-solving techniques.
• Manages and improves the effectiveness of the organization's quality management system (QMS).

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent certification.
• Demonstrated expertise in statistical process control (SPC), measurement system analysis (MSA), and other advanced quality tools.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems.
• Proven experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventative actions (CAPA).

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
• Experience with Six Sigma Black Belt methodologies
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 standards
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with advanced metrology and inspection techniques
