Salary Range: $62,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Grand Rapids that are seeking skilled Assembly Supervisors. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train a team of assembly technicians on the production line.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Maintain quality standards by conducting regular inspections and addressing non-conformances.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• Optimize assembly processes for efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Manage inventory of parts and materials to prevent production delays.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve production targets and quality standards.
• Strong understanding of assembly processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software and basic computer applications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
