Salary Range: $64,000 - $102,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and tests PLC programs for automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoots and debugs existing PLC programs to resolve production issues.
• Modifies and optimizes PLC programs to improve machine performance and efficiency.
• Collaborates with engineers and production staff to define control system requirements.
• Develops and maintains detailed documentation for PLC programs and control systems.
• Implements and tests HMI applications for operator interface with machinery.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience programming PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi).
• Proficiency in ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram programming languages.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation protocols (e.g., Profinet, EtherNet/IP, Modbus).
• Experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with HMI/SCADA system design and programming.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and languages (e.g., Python, C#) for data analysis or scripting.
• Experience with robotic programming and integration.
• Understanding of MES/MOM systems and their integration with PLCs.
