HR Generalist | Fremont, MI

Salary Range: $61,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Fremont seeking HR Generalists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, for manufacturing staff.
  • Support HR Business Partners and managers in employee relations, including investigations and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies within the manufacturing plant.
  • Manage and maintain HR records, including HRIS data entry and personnel file management.
  • Facilitate recruitment and selection processes for hourly and some salaried manufacturing positions.
  • Assist with benefits administration and provide employees with information regarding their plans.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and disciplinary actions.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state labor laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA).
  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
