Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Allendale that are seeking skilled Field Service Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in production machinery.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Calibrate and test equipment to meet specified performance standards and quality requirements.
• Document service activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent, accurately and completely.
• Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while performing field service duties.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Mechatronics) or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and electrical systems
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
• Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in various field environments
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently to customer sites

Bonus Qualifications

• IPC-J-STD-001 or IPC-7711/7721 certification.
• Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces).
• Proficiency in using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
