Salary Range: $90,000 - $137,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Mattawan that are seeking Facilities Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of production equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Manage facility budgets, including capital projects and operational expenses.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors for specialized services.
• Optimize space utilization and manage facility layouts for efficiency.
• Implement energy conservation initiatives and sustainable facility practices.
• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and facilities staff.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in facilities management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols in a manufacturing setting
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million dollar facilities budgets
• Certification such as FMP (Facilities Management Professional) or CFM (Certified Facilities Manager)

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) certification.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) implementation or optimization.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles and their application in facilities management.
• Knowledge of sustainable building practices and energy management systems.
