Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Kentwood that are seeking Mechanics. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical defects in machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, utilizing technical manuals and diagnostic tools.
• Execute precision adjustments and alignments of machinery components.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during maintenance operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical failures in production machinery.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs and industrial control systems.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Certification in a specialized area (e.g., HVAC, heavy equipment).
