Salary Range: $48,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Wayland seeking Mechanics who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures in production machinery.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and develop schedules.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schelmatics.
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Document all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Completion of a vocational training program in mechanical maintenance or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot complex mechanical systems

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Valid CDL or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with CMMS software.
