Salary Range: $77,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement materials management strategies.
• Oversee inventory control, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Lead and mentor the materials team.
• Optimize material flow and logistics within the manufacturing process.
• Implement and maintain accurate inventory systems.
• Collaborate with production planning to ensure timely material availability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in materials management or purchasing within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proven ability to implement and manage an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
• Demonstrated experience in sustainable sourcing and circular economy initiatives.
• Bilingual proficiency, especially in languages relevant to global supply chains.
