Salary Range: $97,000 - $144,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Plainwell seeking IT Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and support of factory floor IT systems.
• Manage the IT infrastructure and network for manufacturing operations.
• Ensure the security and compliance of industrial control systems (ICS).
• Lead the implementation of new manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize IT solutions for efficiency.
• Develop and manage the IT budget for manufacturing facilities.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years experience managing IT operations, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to implement and manage ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) in a production setting.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and IoT in manufacturing.
• Experience with IT infrastructure design, network security, and data management specific to factory floor needs.
• Demonstrated leadership in building and mentoring IT teams to support manufacturing goals.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and other production-related software.
• Familiarity with IoT and Industry 4.0 concepts as applied to manufacturing.
• Certifications in ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
