Salary Range: $71,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Kalamazoo seeking IT Systems Administrators who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including virtualized environments and physical servers.
• Administer and support enterprise applications, such as ERP, MES, and PLM systems.
• Ensure network stability and security, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Implement and manage data backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and manage hardware and software lifecycles.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA or MES systems.
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies in a production environment.
• Scripting proficiency (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation of IT tasks.
