Inventory Control Manager | Montague, MI

Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
• Oversee cycle counting and physical inventory processes to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
• Manage inventory control team, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory flow.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Implement and manage inventory management systems and software.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory control or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and WMS.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including forecasting, demand planning, and optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with an ERP system implementation or upgrade
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency in a second language relevant to the workforce
• Experience with drone technology for inventory management
