Inventory Control Manager | Montague, MI
Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Oversee cycle counting and physical inventory processes to ensure accuracy.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
- Manage inventory control team, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory flow.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Implement and manage inventory management systems and software.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in inventory control or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and WMS.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including forecasting, demand planning, and optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with an ERP system implementation or upgrade
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Proficiency in a second language relevant to the workforce
- Experience with drone technology for inventory management
