Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement new production methods, equipment, and tooling.
• Conduct root cause analysis of manufacturing defects and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flows.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Provide technical support and training to production personnel.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and analyzing manufacturing layouts and tooling.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and experience implementing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) to monitor and improve manufacturing performance.
• Knowledge of various manufacturing processes, such as machining, assembly, welding, and automation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, 5S).
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and statistical process control (SPC).
• Experience with automation and robotics in a manufacturing setting.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
