Salary Range: $48,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Grand Rapids that are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct facility maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing and electrical work.
• Utilize CMMS to document work orders, track parts, and manage maintenance history.
• Collaborate with production to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing environment

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMMS software for work order management and preventative maintenance scheduling.
• Certification or specialized training in areas like HVAC, PLCs, or robotics.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ability to perform basic welding, fabrication, and machining tasks.
• Forklift operator certification or experience with other material handling equipment.
