Maintenance Manager | Rockford, MI

Salary Range: $82,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Rockford that are seeking Maintenance Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment.
• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Manage the maintenance department budget, including spare parts inventory and external service contracts.
• Oversee the troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Collaborate with production to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
• Implement and manage a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking assets and work orders.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience with CMMS implementation and optimization
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians
• OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
