Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Traverse City seeking Industrial Electricians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on industrial electrical systems and components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Install new electrical systems, wiring, and controls according to blueprints and specifications.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and identify potential electrical issues.
• Calibrate and test electrical instruments and control systems.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies for electrical work.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in industrial electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls.
• Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations.
• Experience with high-voltage systems (e.g., 480V, 4160V) and associated safety protocols.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Arc Flash safety training and certification (NFPA 70E).
• Robotic maintenance and programming experience.
• Journeyman Electrician certification.
• CAD software proficiency for electrical schematics.
