Salary Range: $54,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in a manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in machinery and equipment, utilizing schematics and test equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
• Calibrate and adjust electrical controls and instrumentation for optimal performance.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to complete assigned tasks.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and in a timely manner.

Recommended Qualifications

• Red Seal Industrial Electrician certification.
• 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Experience with VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation systems.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns on production equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotic systems and their electrical components.
• PLC programming proficiency beyond basic troubleshooting (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000).
• Certification in thermography or other predictive maintenance technologies.
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
