Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the finishing team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Monitor product quality throughout the finishing process, identifying and resolving any deviations or defects.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures within the finishing department.
• Train and mentor new and existing finishing personnel on equipment operation and process techniques.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions or process issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth transitions of products and information.
• Manage inventory of finishing materials and supplies, initiating reorders as needed.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing finishing processes (e.g., painting, polishing, assembly).
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and quality specifications.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop a team of production operators.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems for production planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor production staff.
• Certification in quality control (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt).
• Bilingual (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) to communicate with a diverse workforce.
