Salary Range: $60,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Otsego that are seeking skilled Production Supervisors. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to meet output targets and quality standards.
• Supervise, train, and mentor production line personnel, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance for timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Implement and enforce company policies, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Manage raw material inventory and ensure efficient utilization to minimize waste.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Minitab)
• Bilingual (especially Spanish)
• OSHA 30-hour General Industry certification
