Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Kentwood seeking Production Leads who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production schedules and workflows to meet output targets.
• Train, mentor, and supervise production team members, fostering a positive work environment.
• Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions to ensure adherence to standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance for timely repairs.
• Optimize production processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and waste minimization.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a production team to achieve targets and maintain quality standards.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and other production management software.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure workplace safety and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab)
• OSHA 30-hour General Industry certification
