Salary Range: $81,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality improvement plans.
• Conduct supplier audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define supplier quality requirements and specifications.
• Monitor and report on key supplier quality performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
• Participate in new product development activities to ensure supplier readiness and quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, supplier quality, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis).
• Demonstrated ability to conduct supplier audits and assessments.
• Experience with various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, casting, injection molding).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other relevant ASQ certification
• Experience with advanced quality tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Familiarity with specific industry standards (e.g., ISO 13485 for medical devices, IATF 16949 for automotive)
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly for international supplier bases
