Salary Range: $79,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality management strategies and procedures.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier-related quality issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define supplier quality requirements for new product introductions.
• Monitor and report on key supplier quality performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
• Manage supplier qualification and disqualification processes based on quality performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
• 3+ years experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC)
• Demonstrated ability to conduct supplier audits and drive corrective actions
• Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys)

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with AI-powered quality tools or predictive analytics in a manufacturing setting.
• Certification or demonstrated experience in advanced statistical techniques (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer with a focus on advanced statistics).
• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior engineers or cross-functional teams on quality improvement projects.
• Experience with complex ERP systems and their application to quality data management and supplier performance tracking.
