Reliability Engineer | Battle Creek, MI
Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Battle Creek that are seeking Reliability Engineers. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.
- Optimize preventative maintenance (PM) programs and schedules.
- Lead reliability improvement projects and initiatives.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams on design for reliability.
- Develop and track key reliability metrics and KPIs.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
- 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, focused on reliability engineering principles.
- Proven expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and other reliability analysis techniques.
- Strong understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis).
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
Bonus Qualifications
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) certification.
- Experience with advanced predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., AI/ML-driven analytics, drone inspections, robotic process automation for inspections).
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and automation.
- Demonstrated experience in leading or facilitating Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for complex failures.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and Lean manufacturing principles.
