Salary Range: $42,000 - $62,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders for accuracy and damage.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and creating shipping documents.
• Load and unload trucks safely using appropriate material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
• Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure timely material flow.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks as required

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management.
• Forklift certification with experience operating various lift types.
• Familiarity with hazardous material handling and shipping regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA).
• Proficiency in using scanning and barcode technology for inventory tracking.
• Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application in warehouse operations.
