Salary Range: $54,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Fremont seeking Robotics Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in industrial robots.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and develop maintenance schedules.
• Install, program, and test new robotic equipment and peripheral devices.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize robot performance and integrate new applications.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations.
• Train production staff on basic robot operation and safety procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
• Strong understanding of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) for troubleshooting and minor modifications.
• Demonstrated ability to perform preventative maintenance and repair on robotic systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems and their integration into robotic cells.
• Familiarity with various fieldbus protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, DeviceNet).
• Basic programming skills in Python or C++ for data analysis or custom tool development.
• Knowledge of safety standards and risk assessment procedures for industrial robotics (e.g., ISO 10218, ANSI RIA 15.06).
