Salary Range: $53,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in industrial robots.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new robotic cells and equipment.
• Program and teach robot paths for new products or process improvements.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations accurately.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize robot performance and uptime.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB, Yaskawa).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and PLC logic.
• Strong understanding of robotic programming, teach pendant operations, and robot calibration.
• Experience with various manufacturing processes and automation equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
• Familiarity with a variety of robot brands beyond the primary (e.g., Kawasaki, Epson, Staubli).
• Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, C#) for scripting or data analysis.
• Experience with industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
