Salary Range: $53,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair robotic systems and automated equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on industrial robots and related machinery.
• Calibrate robot arms and end-effectors to ensure precise operation.
• Program and re-program robots for new tasks or optimized performance.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and analyze data to identify system malfunctions.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new robotic cells.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in robotics, mechatronics, automation, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB, Yaskawa).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and pneumatic diagrams.
• Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, and industrial control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to perform robotic programming adjustments and teach point modifications.
• Experience with vision systems and sensor integration in robotic applications.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for inspection and guidance
• Familiarity with different robotic end-effectors, including custom gripper design or integration
• PLC programming experience (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) for machine control and interface
• Certifications in robotics platforms (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) or industrial safety
• Basic machining or fabrication skills for fixture modification and prototyping
