Salary Range: $59,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for standard and custom products.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Analyze customer specifications and drawings to determine appropriate materials, processes, and costs.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems and quoting software to generate detailed proposals.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to secure orders while maintaining profitability.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of quotes, pricing, and customer interactions.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the quoting function.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a quoting, estimating, or sales support role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and CRM software.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills for cost calculation and margin analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for tracking quotes and customer interactions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for accessing product information and pricing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
