Salary Range: $53,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for manufactured products.
• Review customer specifications and blueprints to determine material and labor costs.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with customers and suppliers.
• Maintain and update a comprehensive database of pricing, product information, and customer details.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements within the quoting process.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product pricing, availability, and lead times.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a quoting or estimating role within manufacturing.
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and proficiency in calculating costs, margins, and lead times.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interacting with sales, engineering, and customers.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.
