Salary Range: $57,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Mattawan that are seeking Quoting Specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for manufactured products.
• Analyze customer specifications and blueprints to determine material and labor costs.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Utilize ERP software and other tools to generate detailed cost breakdowns and pricing.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to secure orders.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of quotes, pricing, and customer information.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the quoting process.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a quoting, estimating, or sales support role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and CRM software.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost drivers.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) software.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and their integration with quoting processes.
• Proven ability to analyze complex technical specifications and translate them into accurate quotes.
• Experience with international shipping regulations and Incoterms.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
