Salary Range: $83,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality improvement programs.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Manage supplier corrective actions and drive root cause analysis for non-conformances.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to define supplier quality requirements.
• Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics and key quality indicators.
• Lead investigations into supplier-related quality issues and customer complaints.
• Participate in new product development to ensure supplier readiness and capability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis).
• Experience conducting supplier audits and managing supplier corrective actions.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other relevant ASQ certifications
• Experience with advanced quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC
• Familiarity with a variety of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, welding, casting)
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly one relevant to a global supply base
• Experience with implementing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) software
