Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Allendale that are seeking skilled Shop Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production schedules and resource allocation.
• Manage and mentor a team of manufacturing technicians and operators.
• Ensure adherence to quality control standards and safety regulations.
• Optimize shop floor layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
• Implement and monitor preventative maintenance programs for machinery.
• Track production metrics and generate performance reports for management.
• Collaborate with engineering and supply chain to resolve production issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing shop environment
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role
• Proven ability to interpret and apply technical drawings and specifications
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality control standards
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
