Salary Range: $52,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving associates.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics to ensure timely material flow.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies.
• Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some college or technical training preferred.
• 3+ years experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience, including training and directing team members.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and WMS software.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; valid certification required.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Forklift certification with a proven safety record.
• Proficiency in using an ERP system for inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment.
