Salary Range: $45,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Manistee that are seeking Quality Inspectors. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials, initiating appropriate disposition processes.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• Perform first-article inspections and in-process checks to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area, ensuring proper calibration and care of inspection equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schecharts, and technical documents
• Familiarity with various measuring tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., SPC, Root Cause Analysis)
• Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and identify non-conformances
