Salary Range: $47,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment for precision part manufacturing.
• Program EDM machines by inputting G-code and M-code commands.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and adherence to specifications using various measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM machinery.
• Select and load appropriate electrodes and workpieces into the EDM machine.
• Maintain accurate production records and document process parameters.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize EDM processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience operating EDM machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers)

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial automation or control systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical systems.
• Ability to perform minor troubleshooting or maintenance tasks.
