Salary Range: $52,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) according to blueprints and specifications.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet precise dimensional and surface finish requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, or program errors.
• Read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints, schematics, and G-code.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to maintain part quality and production efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, G-code, and M-code
• Strong understanding of various machining processes, tooling, and materials
• Ability to perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM)
• Background in quality control processes and using CMMs
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Experience with a variety of materials beyond standard metals (e.g., composites, plastics)
• Forklift certification or experience operating similar material handling equipment
