Bookkeeper / Office Manager | Hart, MI
Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Hart that are seeking skilled Bookkeeper / Office Managers. Key Responsibilities
- Manages accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections.
- Reconciles bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Processes payroll and maintains related tax records and compliance.
- Supports HR functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, and record-keeping.
- Oversees general office operations, including supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor relations.
- Assists with financial reporting, budgeting, and month-end close procedures.
- Maintains accurate and organized financial and administrative records.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in bookkeeping, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel with strong data entry skills.
- Proven ability to manage office operations, including administrative tasks and vendor relations.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting beyond basic functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Familiarity with inventory management principles and their financial implications
- Experience with payroll processing and related tax regulations
- Background in a manufacturing or production environment
