Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist | Whitehall, MI

Salary Range: $52,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing customers, tracking payments, and resolving discrepancies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs or electronic payments to vendors.
• Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and initiate collections activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records for both AP and AR.
• Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable and receivable.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for financial transactions.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume invoice processing and customer collections efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
