Salary Range: $59,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes to produce precision parts.
• Perform in-process inspections using various metrology tools to ensure quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, adjusting offsets as needed.
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts, maintaining machine efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC Swiss-style lathes.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering specifications.
• Proficiency in performing tool changes, offsets, and minor program edits (G-code, M-code).
• Experience with in-process inspection using various metrology tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators).
• Strong understanding of cutting tools, materials, and machining processes for small, precision parts.
• Ability to troubleshoot common machining issues and maintain part quality within tight tolerances.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAM software (e.g., PartMaker, Esprit)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to read and interpret complex GD&T drawings
• Experience with preventative maintenance on CNC machinery
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
